On the Road Again...

The time has come for us to hit the road again! We will be taking off this Thursday morning and driving down to Tampa, Fl to spend the next week with friends and supporters. Its been close to a year since we have seen some of our friends, so it will be a welcome time to "catch up", and spend time with the beloved community we have there. We are also getting to stay a few days with our dear friends who live on the beach, and I cannot describe how excited Jeremy is to do some saltwater fishing! Oh, and lets be honest, I am a little excited to look for shells... :)

On Tues, March 1st, we will be attending USFs Impact campus ministry, where Jeremy will be speaking about Deeper. We are hoping to raise awarness and support of Deeper DTI within Impact while we are there. Please pray that God will lead to us to potential students, and that He will be glorified through all that we do while we are down there.

March is going to be a really busy month for Jeremy and I - with this trip to FL, our Deeper Staff meetings at Eagle Rest, and preparing to move! We also have things planned like attending Carolina Christian Teen Convention with a Deeper booth, going to visit Milligan, and more!! I am excited about all these events, but mostly excited that every day we get closer to moving to Eagle Rest and beginning our ministry there.

Please continue to remember us in your prayers. Here are a few things to pray for specifically:
- God would lead us to Deeper students
- smooth transition from NC to GA in early April
- safe travel down and back from FL
- God will continue to grow us in our marriage
- we will trust in God to provide for us through fundraising

the Latest

Jeremy, Haley, and I went on an amazing hike yesterday. Hiking up to the top of Stone Mountain is no "walk in the park", but the view is way worth it...layers and layers of mountains fading into the distance. An amazing reminder of the power of the Creator. If I still had my digital camera, I would post pictures. However, due to an unfortunate incident somewhere in Indianapolis, it is no longer with us. Hopefully someone, somewhere is enjoying it.

We have begun the fundraising process again, so I would like to ask for your prayers as we trust God to take care of us. It can become a stressful and consuming thing, if we let it. We need to be continually reminded what a blessing it is for God to provide for us through His people. Jeremy and I are grateful for your prayers and encouragement.

We have now scheduled a trip down to Florida in March to visit our supporters and friends, as well as promote Deeper at the University of South Florida. Also, we are having our Deeper DTI staff meetings (also in March) at Eagle Rest in GA to reflect on this past year and to plan for 2005-2006. It will be a blessing to pray as a staff on site at Eagle Rest about having Deeper there in the fall.

Things, as they Are

Today Jeremy and I were able to go "hiking" around Lake Norman - it was more like walking, but still enjoyable. Sometimes I forget how much I like being outside. I just feel better about everything, and it is much easier to see God around me. His Creation was beautiful at the lake - the late afternoon sun on bare top branches...God has really been teaching me to seek Him where I am, and also to be patient when listening for His voice.
This coming week, we are going to begin working on fundraising...great fun, I tell you. My sister, Haley, is coming to visit next weekend as well. We are still working on planning a Deeper DTI staff retreat for March, and Jeremy and I are also trying to arrange a trip down to Florida to visit supporters and do some recruiting for Deeper.
